If only I had thought to come to Epinions first to check out Intelliflix, I could have saved myself lots of angst...but I didn't, and have suffered through months of horrible service. Please follow along with my saga, as I tried to keep a log of everything that happened.

PROS (so far):
1. Two bucks per rental is not bad at all.
2. There seem to be quite a few movies to choose from in many different categories.
CONS (so far):
1. You have to register in order to even browse the adult titles.
2. There are pretty much NO descriptions on any of the movies (and ones that do have them are like two sentences at most), so you either have to know exactly what you want or research the titles elsewhere.
3. I used their contact form to suggest something for the site. Apparently, that is considered a "support ticket." Later, I had a question regarding something about my account, and when I submitted it, it said "You already have a support request pending. Please wait until we have resolved that issue first." WHAT? Of course, you couldn't go back because the page was expired. Not a good start.
SO-SO THINGS:
1. The drag-and-drop queue rearranger doesn't work for me, even though I'm using the browser they suggest.
2. The search function is fairly hidden - you would think it would be more prominent.

After more experience with them, it got even worse. Overall, after using Netflix, Intelliflix is pathetic.
In the hundred movies I've rented from Netflix, I've gotten maybe 2 broken discs--and I received a replacement almost immediately. Conversely, one of my first two from Intelliflix was broken and I still have not received a replacement (going on two months after I reported it). Also, there is no easy/intuitive place to report this (a la Netflix). Instead, you go to Customer Support to send an email, then once you select from the drop-down lists, a choice is "report broken disc." And then, that is considered a support ticket, and you cannot submit any other tickets until it is cleared... and ANY submission (i.e. any contact via that form) is considered a "ticket" so that is a major pain.
Also, the "last shipped items" and "rental history" take forever to update, and since it takes SO long for them to actually ship your requested movies, you can't even remember what movies you requested!
I also got an email notice for both DVDs saying they are late--so four days is apparently NOT enough time to get back to the distribution center. Oh, and yes, even the one I reported as broken was considered late. I was able to go in and mark them as having been shipped back, and I sumbitted a ticket asking how long the general return mail time is, but it's been two days with no response--and no further emails updating me on the status of the returned DVDs. And, as I mentioned above, they were also supposed to send out a replacement DVD (for the broken one) ASAP, and it has been about 7 days since I reported it, and I have yet to receive the replacement.
At this point, I would NOT recommend this company. I still have 8 rentals left, and am almost scared to use them. Stay tuned for further updates.

I finally submitted a ticket about the replacement movie and they said it is not currently available from any vendors so they will send it when it does become available (no time frame given). Ugh. I asked if I could just get a credit for that movie and they said no, not possible. GRRRR. So, I don't think I am even going to ask for my money back on the pre-paid rentals. I will just suck it up, use the rentals, and then not ever use them again.

I cannot wait to be done with this company.
I recently selected a movie, received the shipping notice email about a week or so later (long enough after the fact that I had forgotten I had even ordered the movie), and still hadn't gotten the DVD almost a week after that! I know they are slow as molasses, but what worried me is that you only have X number of days to return the movie (it's not like Netflix where you keep them as long as you want them) and the shipment notification email had the "must return by date" included in it. Well, since I only had about a week left before it had to be returned, and knowing how long it was taking just to get to me, I went to the website to check on it/complain/whatever...and their standard response was "if you still haven't received it in 7 days, let us know."
Well, I was on Day 6 when I checked, so I dutifully waited until Day 7 and when I still hadn't received it, I submitted it as missing/delayed. The standard response email said they would mark it as delayed and send out another disc. I obviously wasn't going to hold my breath. I did receive the first (original) movie two days later (NINE DAYS after they shipped it).
And I still haven't received my replacement copy of the broken DVD from ages ago.
I am about ready to complain in a big way.

It looks like I may have to try calling my CC. I wrote Intelliflix an email saying I was completely dissatisfied and listed all the reasons. This was their canned response:
Our motive is to deliver your title as earlier as possible. The demanded titles are shipped from the different locations so there will be slight delay when you requesting them.
Unfortunately, intelliflix does not give refunds of any kind. All plans are non-refundable and all sales are final. Please let us know if we could be of further assistance.
Thanks for being a part of Intelliflix family, Customer Support

I submitted a dispute with my credit card company claiming horrible service, and by 5/24/07 my account was credited.
