The Bottom Line Stamps.com is a can of worms you do not want to be involved with. I would not even recommend them to an enemy!

Stamps.com has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered online or off. They have total disregard for their customers. This is the earmark of companies that are headed for the scrap heap and there is no doubt in my mind that is where they will wind up.
While printing postage last week, I printed two $3.50 priority mail stamps then watched in amazement as the Stamps.com software deducted $10.50 from my account. Last time I checked 2 X $3.50 was $7.00. Since they keep a record online of every stamp that is printed, I double checked the entries when I was done and sure enough it showed the $3.50 overcharge when the day's printing was totaled up. So I figured no problem, I'll just email them and have them credit my account. Boy was I in for a surprise!
I sent them the details of what happened and got back a canned response saying no credit could be given because I didn't send them proof of a "mis-print". Clearly no one had even read my email. I wrote again and pointed out (again) that there had been no mis-print, that their software simply took an extra $3.50 from my account and that all they had to do was look at their own records for the proof. I got another canned email telling me sorry - they needed to see a mis-printed label to give me a credit!!
Again no one is even reading the emails! They apparently have a single trained monkey who simply presses the canned response key any time an email comes in. In the next letter I threatened to cancel my account if they did not give back the money they had stolen. I got - you guessed it - a canned response - but this time with cancellation instructions. They obviously could not care less whether customers stay or go, which is why I am sure their business is headed for liquidation - why else would you treat customers this way? We have a fairly large mail order business and I have dealt with dozens of companies but none with such disdain for customers as this one.
There are many other problems with the service. It is expensive, it does not support many popular classes of mail like parcel post and media mail, you cannot print just a stamp - you must print an address to go with it. You must be logged on and do everything over the internet, etc etc. Unless you like paying for headaches - avoid these guys like the plague.
