Getting To Know You (I hate This Word) Write-Off

Dec 24 '03

The Bottom Line Something for fun when you can't fall asleep.

Well, I guess I'll go ahead and give this thing a try. I know I've had fun reading everyone else's survey, so I'll get in on the fun as well. I just hate the word write-off. It usually means something you've missed out on or weren't invited to or just a scam to get more hits. In this case though the host sarahlovesadam has invited everyone. I find that refreshing. She is new to Epinions, and although I'm not, I've been away for so long and many of the people I used to read and trust aren't around any more. I'm kind of a old newbie, if that makes any sense. So let me reintroduce myself.

Birth date:
Feb 12, 1981

Height:
About 5'7"

Eye color:
Hazel, the color that can't be described, because they're neither a true brown or green

Hair color:
Brown with blond highlights, naturally

What does your name mean?:
Reborn, too bad I don't believe in reincarnation

High school graduation year:
Should have been 1999, but instead jumped on home study after 9th grade and due to laziness graduated January 2000

Favorite relatives?:
My parents.

Favorite Summer memory?:
Going to the pool as a kid, drinking on the beach while listening to the musician/friend from the bar that just closed play on the beach, etc.

Favorite TV shows?:
Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, La Femme Nikita, Dark Angel, Charmed, Highlander, Xena, Hercules, Forever Knight, Tarzan, Smallville, Tru Calling

What's on your mousepad?:
Boring picture of a keyboard

In the car - air conditioning or windows?:
Both, but I'm a little more for the a/c

Do you believe in yourself?:
Depends on the day and my mood

Favorite game:
I liked Scrabble, Yahtzee, Monopoly for board games. Otherwise I like almost anything Final Fantasy. I seem to have a thing for RPG's (role playing games)

Favorite drink:
Iced Tea or Soda. As for alcohol, either a Long Island Iced Tea, Tom Collins, Sloe-Comfortable-Screw, Blackberry Brandy or Chardonnay.

Favorite food:
Seafood! I see food I eat it. Na, but I really like lobster, crab, shrimp, clams, calamari, ono, mahi mahi, halibut, mussels, and for something simple, grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Favorite colors:
Purple, lilac, black, blue, green, red, anything but pink, yellow or orange basically.

Favorite cigarettes:
Camel Light menthols

Favorite sounds:
My cat purring. It helps me sleep. That and music.

Favorite smell:
Ming Shu or Maroushia Perfume. Or incense burning. Oh, and I like the smell of premium unleaded gas.

Favorite thing to do on a weekend:
Sleep. I'm actually quite good at it.

Favorite soundtrack:
Strange Days

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?:
Don't want to think about it, it might make my wittle head huurt

First thought in the morning?:
Where am I? Cigarette...Soda

Do you get motion sickness?:
Now and then.

Rollercoasters - deadly or exciting?:
Never been on a real one so to speak.

How many rings before you answer the phone?:
I almost never answer the phone. It's usually not for me and other times I'm just not in the mood or can't be bothered. I'm not a big fan of the phone, but it does serve its purpose.

Are you a good friend?:
Yes. Probably too good for the most part

Chocolate or Vanilla cake?:
Chocolate Anything!

What do you drive?:
I don't drive. I killed Bambi, end of story. I might give it a go another time.

Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?:
Nope, I sleep with a real animal. No, I'm not talking about my boyfriend. Besides, I'm single now. I sleep with my cat Kip.

Indifferent

If you could meet one person in the World, who would it be?:
Maybe an ancestor.

What is your zodiac sign?:
Aquarius, that's why I'm weird

What do you wear to bed?:
In the buff. That'll be the day! I'd rather die. Seriously though, a t-shirt and a pair of lounge pants, usually.

Do you eat stems of broccoli?:
None of it if I can, but I'd rather have the flowery top, if I have to eat it.

Girls- Would you ever ask a guy for his shirt?
Why would I want to? I know, answering a question with a question.

If you could have any occupation when you get older, what would it be?:
An actress, but I won't hold my breath.

If you could dye your hair one color, what would it be?:
I've done it all pretty much, except for gray, white and some of the freaky punk colors. As a teen I always wanted to do it purple, but I feel I'm too old now and it would just look foolish.

If you could have a tattoo, what and where would it be:
I'd like to get one, and really do mean just one. I would have a slinky oriental dragon put on my hip. That way when I get old and hard to look at, no one will see this old lady sporting a tattoo.

It's a tie, but I like Combos better.

Favorite flavor Snapple:
Diet Raspberry Iced Tea

Which one, Coke or Pepsi:
Diet Pepsi. Diet Coke is the worst diet I've ever had. I'll drink the regular Pepsi from time to time, but if I'm going to drink something with all those carbs I'd rather do it right and go for glory and drink Mountain Dew.

Which kind of milk is your favorite?:
I don't care much for milk, but 2% or whole milk work.

If you were to kill someone, which method would you use?
I don't think I'd kill anyone personally, but if I did I'd have to be in an insane rage and it would probably be a quick one

Are you a righty, lefty, or ambidextrous?:
Lefty to write, eat, and smoke, but I can bat, pitch, catch, golf with either. I have to use my right hand when using scissors and going bowling. I can bowl left but it drastically changes my score. Go figure?

Do you type with your fingers on the right keys?:
Nope. I only touch two fingers down at one time, but regardless I have overcome these odds and can type 51 wpm on a computer, which according to the certificate I have (Ainsworth) breaks down to 41 by type writer.

ABCDEFG

A motorcycle would be awesome, but since it says car. An old muscle car with soul, not some plastic piece of junk

Have you ever been convicted of a crime?:
Nope.

One pillow or two?:
Two, I sleep in a queen size bed and like to roam around.

Pets:
Kip the cat, Lilo & Stitch the chinchillas

Favorite Movies:
Bram Stoker's Dracula, Les Miserables, Titanic, Return To Paradise, True Lies, Point Of No Return, The Scarlet Letter, Indiana Jones (all of them), The Lord of the Rings 1&2 (haven't seen the latest one), too many to list.

Favorite type of music:
Anything but country western. Classic rock, and alternative would probably be at the top of the list.

Traveling, Internet, writing, poetry, pets, doll collecting 250 Barbies NRFB, tv, movies, food, sleeping, showering, playstation 2, and the list goes on.

Word or Phrase you overuse:
"Sorry" & "Whatever" & "I don't care" & "I don't know"

They all pretty much taste the same, some worse than others. I guess I'd have to say Crest or Aquafresh, along with whitening stuff in them.

No tattoo. My left ear is pierced three times in the lobe and once in the cartilage. My right ear is pierced twice in the lobe, and my naval is pierced. Nothing else.

Do you get along with your parents?:
Absolutely. I can tell them anything.

Favorite beer:
Not my deal. It all tastes like horse-grain-water or something, and they're all skunky!

Favorite song at the moment:
No favorites at this time.

Most humiliating moment:
I don't know there's been so many. Maybe the time this guy in my social studies class was kicking my desk and I was kicking his. It wasn't about attention either, we genuinely didn't like each other. Finally he turned around and kicked my desk with all his might and I leaned back to make sure he didn't kick me. Needless to say my desk flipped over with me still sitting in it and I happened to be wearing a skirt. So up the skirt went! To think, I never was one to wear dresses or skirts, but the one day I did I had a few of the guy's in my class complimenting me on my panties. The worse part is, I'm hoping no one saw that I didn't bother to shave my bikini-line. Ahhh, high school, what sweet memories, NOT.

Favorite Holiday:
None of them. It's a good time of the year to get yourself stressed out and fight with your family for basically no reason.
