My husband just today received his "free" Ipaq (he had flown to Hong Kong business class and the {choke} $1700 airfare came with this as a little bonus). He's setting it up right now and I thought I'd check out a few epinions.

Well, at least we didn't pay for it (the airfare, needless to say, was paid for by his employer).

COuld you send your iPAQ to me if you don't want it anymore ;)

An iPAQ is an at school PDA gamer's dream. 206mhz, 32mb of ram, large color screen. I can play Quake, Duke Nukem, Leo's Flight Simulator and other cool games on it. PLEASE~!!!!, lol, i wish.

I was strongly leaning to this model because of the color screen BUT thanks to you I think I will settle for a Palm Vx™.

Great review!

hehe, good one!

I got it out of curiosity, just to play with and try to use, and for those times when people ask me questions about how Palms and PocketPCs are different. I have also toyed with the idea of running Linux on it, which I keep resurrecting every so often - the urge hits from out of nowhere. I didn't get it because I was in any way shape or form unhappy with my Palm and looking for the iPaq to fill some gaps.

I would recommend you put in more detail on the device, how big is it? How do you like it? .....lol just kidding of course.... all of these kissing up for the editorial comments are starting to get on my nerves...

My real question is, what the heck are you doing with a IPac? I thought you were Palm OS until you die.. or is the IPac why you are Palm until you die.. lol..
