I started with ebay in february 200. i enjoy it immensely. i live in a town of 70000 with two baseball card stores, and i like them but i cant find an autographed cookie rojas card there, or a program from a 1949 baseball team tour of japan.its a wonderful place, to browse or buy.
i was only ripped off once and it was my own fault. a tony gwynn autograph for three dollars, no photo provided, appealed to my frugal ways. the seller fooled a bunch of people, cashed our checks, and skipped town.
frequent buyers should look into paypal.i am afraid i would spend way too much if i used that. but it beats paying for money orders and sending them via mail. if youre a collector, ebay is for you!
