Charming! (Reply to this comment)

Would that more people had such innocent pastimes. Your love affair with Beanies could well serve as an example for how to find an interest that expands your world and gives children an extra opportunity for inclusion.
Nicely done.

I love Beanies and collect them with a passion (Reply to this comment)
by glomarrone
Hi,
I have one of the original nine Beanies. I have been collecting since 1994 and have now officially run out of room in my house to display them. Has this stopped me me from collecting more? Of course not. I just bought Classey and Tradee. My twin sister also collects them and we shop for each other. Okay, so maybe it's more like I shop for her because she has trouble finding them in Orlando.
I have written several epinions on Beanies. Wish there were more of them to write about. I also wote about a Beanie Magazine. You are a woman after my own heart. I loved your epinion. Thanks for sharing.

I Have (Reply to this comment)

...a bunch of my bears on display--my favorite bears are Peace and my Brown Teddy. That changes often, though! You are lucky to be in Canada...I always wanted a Maple w/ no tag & that is the one I could never find around here. I used to belong to a group where we swapped/ bought/ sold and I amassed most of my bears that way. The group folded when the "old school" Prodigy went under--do you belong to any collecting groups?
I enjoyed reading thoughts from another collector!!
Take Care,

have you been speaking to my 15 year old? Our house is over ran by Beanies and all sorts of other stuffed animals. You should see her room!
I asked her once where was she going to put her husband when she got married because she certainly would be taking those things with her, she told me, he could sleep on the floor....lol...I told her I didn't think so.
Thanks so much for sharing your interest.
