You can surf the net, play video games, or store your daily schedule just like you would in a palm computer. It also has a voice recorder which allows you to record notes to yourself (or record phone conversations you don't want to forget about). While surfing the net you are able to pull up some graphics which is a step above the i1000.

If you are worried about clarity, worry no more. With the Nextel i85s you get the same clarity as a land line phone (as long as you are in your coverage area, of course). The coverage area leaves a little to be desired, but as long as you live in a larger city you won't have to worry about that.
