I recently got a gamecube for Christmas, and your list has helped me on what to choose to spend my money on. Thanks again!

Brian,

Thanks for the comment and the read. It is true, after it's all said and done, the bells and whistles are what make the difference. Break it down and you have the old games with a few new tweaks and pretty colors.

Not that that's a bad thing.

You know, in any other art form, sequels are a sign of possible disaster. Yet in gaming, the classics survive. The best games of 2003 were Legend of Zelda, MarioKart, Prince of Persia, and a college football sim? It's like i've never been away! Except, i assume, that if i returned i'd find even better bells and whistles.

Excellent essay. Cheers,

Well, Bonnie, if you really want to play semantics, the Gameboy Advance isn't a video game console so you would've been looking in the wrong place, anyway. See, handhelds are a completely different category.

But, that's only if...

Well, since there is no longer a place in video games for Top 10, this is the best place for a top 10 (or 5) list.

Plus, his top 5 is "Relevant to the stated product/topic", only it's just games for the Gamecube.

That's my input, good job.

I probably should have prefaced this piece by saying that I looked for the most appropriate place to post this and decided this area would be the most appropriate. I also felt that a Top Five list of games could help someone in choosing a console. My reasoning was that after reading about a few games from one console in particular they would have a little more information to aid them in making a final decision.

from the heading here that this should be about which console to buy/choose not a top five listing of games for one particular console.

I just got my son for the holidays a Game Boy Advance and did a lot of research on consoles, this would not have helped me learn which one to choose had it been posted earlier in the month.
