Beware of customer service and damaged or inferior merchandise!

I have always been a fan of Restoration Hardware, and have ordered my bedroom furnishings from them as well as other smaller items in the past. During my home renovation, I decided to order the Cartwright extra wide vanity along with the matching medicine cabinet. Over a month later, I still have none of the merchandise and now a month later, I'm told the medicine chest is on back order after receiving conflicting info that it was shipping.
The vanity and marble top were delivered, and the vanity had one of the worst paint jobs I've ever seen. Lumps under the white paint were visible on the upper left side of the cabinet. Needless to say, I sent the entire order back.
The medicine cabinet never arrived.
I am now dealing with a "TEAM LEAD" named Stacey whom after speaking with her several times, failed to issue the proper credits requested, and I'm still awaiting credit back on the marble top (couldn't wait any longer for this, and was concerned it would arrive damaged and then slow my project down).
Customer service has gone WAY down hill. For the prices they charge, this is ridiculous. Merchandise should be carefully checked before it's shipped. And customer service is very poor in terms of people there knowing what's going on, or following through on what they tell you on the phone. Beware if you're in a hurry to get something! And make sure you thoroughly check every inch of what you ordered.
