Merchandise return not acknowledged (Reply to this comment)

I completely furnished my new bath with RH nickel plated hardware: Vanity lights, sink faucet set, towel bars, towel shelf, TP holder, washcloth ring, and seven vanity knobs. The website had a tendency to reset to default values if any entry required editing and I ended up with seven brush finished knobs instead of the polished nickel that everything else was finished in. I reordered and paid for the replacement knobs and returned the ones with the brush finish. The amount was $52.50 out of a total order of over a thousand dollars.
RH claims they never arrived and I did not have a delivery guarantee set up. After three tries to get a refund, I gave up and vowed never again to purchase any of their merchandise. I get lots of complements on the bathroom fixtures, but don't tell anyone where I got them. Catalogs go immediately into the recycle bin.
On-line commerce is based on trust and I don't trust Restoration Hardware any more.

We ordered the Cartwright large console sink with black marble top in January. The first marble top arrived broken, the replacement got lost in shipping. Then by accident they sent two, picked up one. Now we're four in on marble tops. When the contractors installed the marble in June, it was unfinished and every drop of water left a permanent mark. We ordered a replacement. Marble top 5 arrived in August, also unfinished. I bought $50 worth of Restoration Hardware products to seal it, and they don't work well at all. They don't tell you that you need to seal it by the way. It still picks up every stain. We've given up on this over rated and over priced company.
