In the sense that it excites comment and lists of our own.
Personally speaking, I'd leave out Pixar, include Exorcist 2 (yeah, I know how you feel about the pic), move up Bride of Frankenstein (over Godfather 2?! Blasphemy!), throw in Sanjuro, French Connecton 2, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, and--what else, what else?--much prefer Drunken 2 to Project A 2. Yeah, the stunts were spectacular, but D 2 was what Chan was all about, I think--martial arts, no chaser.

how much I like the delirious "Project A, Part ," (1987), I should check out part one (1983).
Given the confusing naming and renaming of Hong Kong movies, I wasn't completely sure there was a part one.
I agree with all your candidates except one you didn't include (O Lucky Man). Not that I think "If..." is all that good either.

Interesting list and I agree with most of them - but I didn't like "Batman Returns" much, and I think "The Two Towers" was the best of the LOtR films. But a great list, anyway! (And what you said about X-Men 2 was so true!)
