Good write-up.

I don't agree that about half your choices are worth the proverbial pot to p in but your review was interesting and fun to read. Nice job.

Thanks for the comment, always fun and helpful to get...

I bulked it up, I wasn't pleased with my early write-up. I added much more on my reasoning behind even daring to include LOTR on there. Hope it's all more helpful now.

Ahh I'm dying to see that movie. I loved Ring, and think this one sounds just as good. I'm probably going to order a copy of ebay, or yesasia.com soon.

you never got to see the Japanese horror film "Dark Water" by Hideo Nakata this year which they haven't yet shown in America- that was to me an absolutely beautiful masterpiece and the best film of this decade.

I includes it because it made it's wide release on video in 2003... I believe it only made it's way to film festivals during 2002, although I may be wrong.
