Since when did statistics replace biology?
by kayaker237 | Jun 01 '07
I joined eHarmony a few years ago after seeing one of their ads on TV and have kept coming back to it ever since. I've had good and not-so-good experiences on it, but overall, compared to other online dating sites I've used, it's been incredibly ...

Great review, mate! I haven't tried any of these online dating sites (really have no intention to either), but this piece gives me a really good idea of what to expect out of them (and especially eHarmony.com... the Doc must be making good bucks out of it, their TV ads is on all the time!).

Anyhow... I think I'll stick to the old fashion way of just running into the unlucky girl on my own in real life. G'luck to you and thanks again for the great read!!

Cheers,

What a beautifully written review. I've tried both match.com and Yahoo.com and tried eharmony out briefly. I think eharmony is more appropriate for very religious Christians, and I don't fit in that category.

However, I must say, you may think that people over 50 are less picky. In a way you are right, perhaps we aren't as picky over eye color etc., but we tend to find more and more red flags from previous relationships, and more characteristics we are looking for. And some are still looking for the "hottie" type.

Anyway, thanks for your great review. I'll look forward to your future reviews!
