You Still - (Reply to this comment)
by Granniemose
make me laugh out loud - which inspires the dogs to be cute. Since I am alone with the computer, the dogs think they must have done something cute, so Chucky grabs a squeeky toy and Whitney rolls over on her back - still watching me to see if I keep on laughing...which i do.
Grannie - also always right - Mose

Difference between Aussies and Kiwis (Reply to this comment)
by pilotpat
"While on the subject of differences it is interesting to know that on that sand bar called New Zealand to Australias east they have a completely different idea"
Now I always thought that the difference between an Aussie and a Kiwi (or at least their governments) was a lot like the difference between their flags - pretty similar, except one has a bit more "red" in it.
Enjoyed the whinge. Whinge, by the way, is far and away the most useful item of Aussie vocabulary I have stolen from my short residence in your neck of the world.
Cheers,
Pat

Start those Aussie gems any time. You make us arm chair traveler sit up and learn about your homeland. Still checking on the book, can't understand what is taking so long. Hope I have the right on-line book company Trafford Publishing.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really think! Hey I'd like to see more international contribution too. It really makes things more interesting. So what's the deal with the book? Inquiring minds want to know!
Cheers!

Fair dinkum done!
(Hell, I don't care whether I used it write or knot! Like ewe, eye say get rid of the 'spell checker and grama checka')
you said...
"But fair dinkum, sometimes that bus is half empty and other times its half full wheres the justice?"
The old 'is the bus half full or half empty?' saw/conundrum . . .I hate that one too!
As I said...very nicely done!

You can take us on a second trek through the entire country and back, again. Just good to hear from you.
"I figure its time to start writing some good old Aussie travelogues again but hell and tommies I have taken you mob over just about every inch of the country. Still I know its the serious stuff you like so thats what you can expect from now on!
That was a bright spot in my day. Dinkum if it wasn't!

Being a perfectionist isn't easy. I can clearly see how you have been embarrassed so often with all the mistakes being made around you!
I enjoyed your epistle very much, as always!
