and I agree with you... They really do S-U-C-K in the customer service and billing areas. I have had them as my local company for 10 months and they still have not gotten my bill correct.

Sounds like Qwest is trying to beat Ameritech to be THE winner of the worst possible excuse for a business.
Although they do have some work to do - you did, after all, have a phone working. Ameritech likes to keep people waiting a month or more until their phone service is finally fixed. =)

A great posting of Quest's inability to comprehend basic instructions. My dealings with our local Cable company and talking to no less than 5 people still failed to get me results. Gave me a smile this early in the AM.

Although I have not encountered an area myself with QWEST service, I will keep this in mind if I do. I totally enjoyed your epinion and had to laugh, despite your misery. I still think I'd seek some sort of compensation from them. Good Luck! Thanks for an entertaining piece!
