Pros: There where no pros to my experience.
Cons: I never received my order.
Minitots has not delivered my purchase yet. I placed my order on May 6, 2007. The web site states "Usually ships 1 week", however they neglected to inform me that this item is on backorder. I was never called or e-mailed to tell me that there would be any type of delay for my purchase. Ten days after I made my purchase online, I called to find out the status of my order. I was told they would have to call the manufacturer and they would return my call. After a couple of days and no response I called back, at this time I was told it would be 2 weeks before it was shipped. This was the first time I was informed that it was going to take longer than the 1 week stated on the website. Two Weeks later I called again, and again I am told it will take 2 weeks before it is shipped. It has now been a month since I placed my order and paid in full and I have not received my dresser yet. I do not recommend purchasing anything from Minitots unless you don’t mind not knowing when you can expect to receive your purchase.
UPDATE
Its been 6 weeks since I placed my order at Minitots and I still did not receive my order. The company claims it was damaged when shipped to them from the manufacturer. At this point I decided it was not worth the hassle to wait another 6 weeks to see if a replacement could be shipped, so I canceled my order. This has been the most unpleasant shopping experience I have every had. Now our baby will be here in a month and we have to try and find a dresser for her room.
