Hey, man -

Springsteen's new CD is great. The jury is still out on the 9/11 theme (it gets a little overwrought at times), but the songs are great, as usual.

"The music rises in orgasmic waves as Springsteen screams for his love to join him."

Dang you, Tanta, for having what may have been the best line in the write-off so far. To top it off, though, you continued...

"I had grown up with the 'Born in the USA' era Springsteen, and I didn’t really 'get' him."

I picked my Springsteen song from "Born in the USA" but I, too, didn't see what the big deal was when I was growing up, either. It's good to know that I'm not the only one. But, um, how's his new music? It's not just banking off of patriotic sentiments like that a-hole Toby Keith is.

Mind you, I realize that Toby Keith is a waste of time whereas the Boss is ultra-talented, but I'm just making sure his new music is still good.

Anyhow, thanks a load for joining the write-off and it's good to see you can still write with the best of 'em. You know... me!

Just kidding, take care,
