I WANNA TALK ABOUT ME (The Great Unannounced Open-Ended Write-Off)

Jan 20 '04 (Updated Jul 15 '09)

The Bottom Line This was fun! I am really not that bad...really!

First let me just say, this is my favorite subject, me! And if you keep reading you will gain insight into yet another somewhat self absorbed, artist/writer type, with all the personality stereotypical quirks one can stand.

1. If you had to choose, which would you rather have: herpes, a root canal, a computer virus, a colonoscopy, or a polygraph?

A polygraph.

2. If you could go back in time and do one thing over, what would it be?

I would have applied myself in school more than to my boyfriend. Instead I became a teen stay at home mother and wife. The Lack of education became a chronic problem for the rest of my life. I took a course for Human Resources for the health care professional online in 2006. That one cost me seven hundred. Needless to say I could not get a job in the field, they wanted experience. So I got myself an SMC site. I love all the different things they have, and a three hundred page catalog here www.unersellhomegoods.com  I'm my own best customer. There was a new flea market coming to town and I was doing this! So I got myself a table. and sold some stuff then, I broke my arm and wrist.  I am now taking a course online for a food handler's license, it's free, if you live in NYC here is a site which has free courses for licenses and it was hard to find. So I am up to my last lesson. http://tinyurl.com/NYS-free-courses

3. If you could only have one food item and one drink for every meal for the next month, what would they be?

I think lasagna would be a good choice, that is a three in one dinner. And diet soda. Up-date i do not drink soda of any kind.

4. What do you usually leave in - a Huff? a Tizzy? the bed of a beat-up pickup? a High Dudgeon or a stretch limo?

It is so cold here in NY that I leave in a hat coat and scarf. Then I start up my 2001 Green (like money) Mazda Protege then leave.
Usually I leave the house frowning, get in my warmed up vehicle, flip in a CD. I just got the new Seal CD, very nice by the way, and come back usually smiling. It is when I am home alone all day that usually leaves me in the DUMPS.

5. You open up a bottle and instead of beer, you get a genie with the standard three wish deal. What do you wish for? (And the first person who says "World peace" will be tracked down like a dog, eviscerated, and strangled with his/her own intestines. You have been warned.)

Oh boy, if I had a genie with three wishes? I always think of things like this so I am somewhat prepared.

1. I wish to feed the world like Jesus did.
2. I wish I had a way to help others like Jesus did. Perform miracles.

3. I wish I would meet a wonderful gentleman who also has enough money for both of us to retire young and live in happily, close to nature, be in love, and plenty of fun in the sun! Or, If I had a lot of money I would do the same for the man I love.

6. You just inherited/won $1 Billion. What do you do for the next 24 hours?

First I would call my adult children, and my brother and sister. Then I would start to think about all of the things I could do with that kind of money. How many people I could help. I think that it would be hard for the brain to comprehend it since I am so used to thinking of ways to make money, and looking for a job.

I think the news of a billion dollars would color my world, and my world would turn from blue to green, to rosy pink.

Being okay with having older things means that practically everything I would look at in my house including this computer would be history, so I would be deciding what I would give away, and what to throw away, what I would buy new. It would take a while for the brain to wrap itself around that one, it would take a while to sink in.
Then I would celebrate with my family members by going out to eat!
I now sponsor a child, he's nine.
7. Of all of the voices in your head, which is your favorite?

The one that says, I am ready for a new day! The positive voice which includes the courageous voice, the don't beat yourself up today voice, and the confident voice.

8. If you could attend your own funeral and give the eulogy, what would you say?

Here lies a girl that never grew up. She took nothing too seriously, except for her beautiful children and her grandchildren. Yes, many would look in awe as they found out that Jeanette had five grandchildren and still looked like a kid herself. lol

She died without her life story ever being told. However, she lived a life that Jackie Collins could write about in her hot sexy romance novels, (she wished) if only she could have written it down for all to see that their life is not much different from dear Jeanette's. That we all have struggles and we learned from Jeanette that it is possible to get through hard times by being resilient about life, to overcome the emotional obstacles we all go through at times of trail, and to adapt to a new mindset. Changing your thinking, changes your emotions.

She had dreams of being an artist, or a writer, she played guitar. Turned out they were just dreams of grandeur that cursed her all of her life. That ego problem most artist have plagued her till the very end.

Though, no matter the fallout of any personal, or relationship problems Jeanette had, like the Lioness she was, was brave and strong. Only when she jumped, she would land on one foot. She was always teetering on the fear of committing the other foot to ground to steady her. Afraid that once she put that foot down her dreams would be over.

9. Name an actor, performer, talking head, or public figure that you just can't stand.

Me, I can't stand anyone who is more successful then I! lol That includes all actresses, and all news women who if you notice are getting more and more stunning day by day. Update: I am not like that anymore. 2009.

Really, there is no one I can't stand. I love people, until I get to know them. lol

10. You are leaving tomorrow for a 6-week stay in the 12th century. What do you pack?

I would bring shampoo, cream rinse, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, lotion, and soft underwear.

Bisquick so I don't have to make breakfast from scratch.
A shower hose to hook up in the bathroom.
A hair blow-dryer with batteries.
A heater with batteries.
A CD Walkman radio player.
And plenty of Batteries. lol

11. Name something small that really annoys you.

Anything wrong with my computer, that really annoys me.

12. What's the bravest thing you have ever done?

One time I was in a bar and a guy pulled a gun on me, but he made a mistake, he was so close that I grabbed it right out of his hand! Swoosh! He was drunk and I knew him, he was like holding the gun at me. You don't point guns at people in a bar, or anywhere. So I whipped it right out of his hand and he was left with his mouth open. I got someone to put the gun behind the bar, and someone took him home.

Also quitting smoking four years ago was pretty brave too.

13. What is the dumbest thing you have ever done?

I am not dumb, i'm smart, i have never done nothing wrong, i am innocent! My murder trial will prove that! lol Just kidding.
I can say I did nothing dumb? (Except that prior paragraph is dumb.) Everything is a learning experience. And...I am still learning, so dumb is as dumb does still applies, and resumes.

14. What assumptions do people make about you that are wrong?

Who knows? The answer to this question is one that would be a projection. I had enough therapy in one fell swoop of a write-off. Girlfriend!

15. If you had a building named after you, what would be in it?

Great Art on the walls. Live music, live comedy, poetry reading, food and drink.

16. It is the year 2024. What kind of computer are you using?

Actually in my "book" I have a very powerful computer so I gave some thought to this, it would be so powerful that I can time travel by using a windows 25 software.

17. When your pet looks at you, what is it thinking?

My dear sweet Bubba passed. I have a painting I did of him on my website. But when he was here I would feel like he was talking to me all day long.

"I'm hungry! I want to go out? I want to sit on you, I want eat Your food, I want to sleep on Your feet, in Your bed, come on ma, come on, I sware, I won't fart!"

18. If you were forced to move to another country, where would you go?

I would probably move, not sure.

19. Okay, 'fess up. What did you do that made it necessary to move to another country?

Something illegal.

20. Zen space. Make up a question and provide your own answer.

Should I kill myself today, or tomorrow?

Not today, it can wait till tomorrow.
