You know, lack of sleep makes your mind do weird things.

AdaDavis: There's nothing like insomnia to get your brain firing almost randomly. No alcohol, though - cold drugs, ya know.

I don't know why our brains always get stuck on the most annoying songs - perhaps they are the most annoying because they ARE so catchy. I make a point of never buying a product whose jingle gets caught in my head.

Sorry to hear that narc painkillers don't work for you. They make me very happy :-).

nagels: I'm not sure I ever had it, but thanks for stopping by!

First - Can I borrow that voice in your head? I keep getting songs stuck on "continuous replay" in my brain. That would be okay if they were songs that I liked, but they are invariably ones that I loathe. The only way to get rid of them is to replace them with another stupid song that I hate. I could really use something that would beat up on that Inner Voice.

I agree about the root canal and novacaine. Unfortunately, the whole narc family of painkillers is useless to me. They turn me into a puddle of goo on the floor unable to stand up or walk, but a puddle of goo in a world of pain. Life's just not fair.

This little survey is best answered while sleep deprived. Even better while sleep deprived and after consuming lots of alcohol. (At least, that's how I came up with the questions.)

Thanks for adding more insanity into the mix!

Ada
