I purchased a gateway 1200 select 40 days ago and have had nothing but problems and tech support is unresponsive. First it arrived with ribbon cables not connected. Once these where connected boot up was slow. When connected to the internet it would take up to 60 seconds to transfer to another site. The final blow was when the computer would automatically shut down when starting. Tech services continually placed me on hold and then informed me I would be required to drive over two hundred (200) miles to have the necessary repairs made. When I informed them that I refused to undertake the drive I was transferred to another department and placed on hold for another 20 minutes. Customer satisfaction is not priority one for gateway.
