I bought the Fantom Fury because I have dogs. For the first year I was very pleased with it. Then it clogged, and I could not unclog it by myself, so I took it to a reputable vacuum shop. They said the design is such that in order to get out my clog, they had to disassemble the whole thing, and it cost me $80 to get it fixed. Now, 6 mos later it is clogged again, so I have given up and ordered a different vacuum. I only vacuum normal stuff, and have never clogged a vacuum in the 26 years I have been married until this one. So it is wonderful as long as it does not clog. It does have a very handy hose which comes out of the handle, so it is always quickly available. And it does do a great job of filtering the gunk you vacuum up!
