Pros: Very stable, very fast compared to older less-powerful motherboards.
Cons: Iwill is a defunct company, with no current support or drivers, etc. available on-line anymore.
The Bottom Line: If you know what you are doing, the DK8N is worth the risk of buying for its unique abilities and power.

This dual-Opteron board is unique, in that it has an AGP-8x slot, rather than the newer PCIe.
The product also has PCI-X slots, that can be jumpered either to 32 bit or 64 bit usage.
I am running this board with two dual-core Opteron 270s, and 2 GB of Micron RAM. I installed Windows XP, and have had zero problems or issues with the DK8N. It has been rock solid, with none of the dreaded "Blue Screen of Death".
I use it for video editing and MPEG encoding, and DVD-video production.
Unfortunately, ALL Iwill products have become essentially obsolete, in that the Iwill Corporation was bought-out by Flextronics International. The new company is no longer manufacturing motherboards, nor supporting old Iwill products.
The former Iwill website has been taken off-line, and there are no longer driver and BIOS downloads available, nor any support.
If you do purchase this or any Iwill product, probably second-hand, be sure you are provided with the most recent available drivers on disc.
If you acquire this product, or are thinking of doing so, I strongly suggest you go to the following motherboard forum link:

You should scroll to the latter pages (there are currently 75) of this forum thread on the DK8N. It contains very useful information from many users of this product.
I can be reached at holmer19@netscape.net if you have any questions.
