The Bottom Line Flowers and butterflies and other happy things, not exactly.
The scent of perfume rings in my ears; a tale told in riddles. Colored lights spin into my brain singing with chaotic rhythm. Floors built of concrete seep into the skin of my feet, oozing into my body. Freedom, a prison of choices, leaves me prone to apathetic harmony. Sleep drives its desires of resting thought into my being, I forget my purpose. My maiden, my beautiful, my choice talks to me with her heart. Love flies around me like an insect, it buzzes in my ears. Choices, born of permanence, resonate into my chest, I love her, am I ready? Life cascading, pulling me into its current, I struggle for breath. I don't like to make decisions. Her twilight song sings me to sleep. The lyrics of her words sooth my soul. Thought a curse, I want to feel, to caress skin; to kiss lips. Hair running through fingers, skin sticky with the sweet essence of love. Love a burden of responsibility, I need her to be my strength. Gardens born of antiquity, beautiful and old, I will live there one day. The past, a time I was not where I longed to be, persists in the present. Future, open and unknown, I dream of possibilities. |
