Thank you for the great recommendation!
I watched it a couple weeks ago and I loved it. Hubby, on the other hand, left about an hour into it--bored out of his mind.
I don't know why, but I adore Hugh Grant and he's absolutely charming in this one--as usual!
Thanks again,
CindyJean

Pearl Harbor always makes me cry. I can't stand the fact that Josh Hartnett--I mean Danny (;)) dies. I hate sad happy endings.
LOL. Great list. Notting Hill is one of my top three favorites.
Keep up the good writing! And don't let the Titanic bring you down.
Heehee, get it?

...list! I adore Much Ado About Nothing! Have you seen Ema Thompson's (Jane Austen's) Sense and Sensibility? I cry nearly every time I watch the ending... witty too. From one sap to another.
Happy viewing,
Mary :)

Like I said in the review, I "prefer" for my romances to have a little comedy.
I loved 'Titanic' but it makes me so sad to watch it that I only see it every 18 months or so. LOL

No Titanic? Blasphemy!! Nah, I'm kidding :) These are great picks, or at least I really liked the three that I did see. LOL
I'll keep this in mind next time around!

Let me also make a suggestion for a romantic movie that will capture your heart in a unique way: Penny Serenade. Watch it, and let me know how you like it!
Hugs!

One suggestion (Reply to this comment)

If you haven't seen it yet, you really should find a copy of Jose Ferrer's performance as the title character in "Cyrano de Bergerac." It's a faithful adaptation of one of my favorite romantic plays, with both tragic and comic elements, and Ferrer won an Oscar for his role.
