Pros: Doors are wide and so getting in/out is easier. Front seats are spacious.
Cons: Front end is heavy! One repair that's expensive is the McPherson struts.

Yes, we bought it new, a gold-colored convertible with turbo. Now, 142,000-plus miles later, I guess we can say we are experienced. Has all the power stuff like seat back/forth up/down, windows, as well as usual steering, etc. When the car was 5-6 yrs old, my husband's boss sat on the back with a pretty girl when he was running for reelection-- still looking in style for that job.

It is a convertible! Snazzy, even at this old age. Repairs have been nothing unusual. Having had the car this long, we probably have repaired or changed every part, many of them more than once but, hey, what car doesn't wear out? And, being American, the repairs fall under heading of "reasonable" and "available parts." And the corner garage can work on it. We have also found that, despite the book's recommendation of hi-test, it runs just fine on the medium grade fuel, even with ethanol in it.

Doors are wide so they are a bit heavy. Windows, in advanced age, tend to get stuck. Have found polishing them with a dry glass polish helps. Paint job has not lasted in the AZ desert sun.
