Sweet, I'll be searching for copies of these. Hopefully Emule will have them for download as I assume that they will be hard to find in the average movie store. Most good movies are.

You may be right. Donnie Darko is definitely more thriller than horror, but it leaves me with the same feeling as a good horror movie. As for Cube, although it has quite a lot of sci-fi to it, the death scenes are straight out of horror films. Especially the opening scene which Resident Evil tries to copy but fails miserably. Thanks for the thoughts!

"Session 9" for a contemporary horror flick, "M" for a classic one and "Habit" for the obligatory vampire movie.

I also agree that "Donnie Darko" is not a horror flick.

I've heard of The Cube but have never seen it. I think I'll head out this weekend and pick up a copy. Great posting.

This might be a matter of opinion, but I don't think there's any way that either Cube or Donnie Darko can ever be classed as horrors.

Cube is more of a sci-fi thriller with a few gory bits, but I would never class it as a horror. And Donnie Darko is a teen angst, fantasy, sci-fi, drama thingymabob.

Both are great films, but I'm not sure if they sit right in this list. Still, they're you're selections, so fair play to you.
