I have used Amazon as both a buyer and seller.
As a buyer, it is easy to navigate through. If it's a book (what I most use it for), just enter the ISBN and it pops up. You can order the Amazon copy or you can buy a used and new copy from another seller. Nice feature.
You just add to shopping cart and search for more or check out.
I love their super saving shipping. I take advantage of that quite often. (order $25 or more of participating products and you get free shipping)
Returns are a bit annoying--you can't just return it to a store, you have to send it back and wait for the credit to show up...I hate that, but what can you do?
They offer a great selection of most items, especially DVDS, CDs and books.
As a seller, I have not had one problem with Amazon or its customers. To list an item, it is super easy. You barely have to maintain the listing (only to look every once and awhile to keep the price competitive)--for some books the market is so flooded that you don't make much money at all--but that's with any site like this.
Customer service treats sellers and buyers nicely and promptly. I recommend over all other sites in this selling type of market.
