This is really a very helpful report of information, I'm learning a thing or two on this one. I guess my future reviews should contain more information.

Shalom, Louis!
Glad you're awake...
Just love those names in Israel... Netanya, so pretty! Hope the food at that Machu Picchu restaurant is very good!
Are you getting around on your Vespa and enjoying the outdoors?
Thanks for stopping by, Louis,

You Polyglot, you! (sound like an insult, doesn't it?)... You speak German, French, Anglais, and whatever else, and Spanish is coming your way? Wow, I only speak three languages, and struggling with English, ;-)
I know, the world is so big, where do we go? You'll get to South America, one day, if you so desire it!!
Thanks for the comment,
Regina
Photos are doing quite well... staying in the top three pages! Yay!

Thanks for another great virtual tour, Regina. :o) Haven't a hope of heading that way in the next 2 years... but then I can use the time to pick up some Spanish. Cool!

"A tent with a view" to misquote E.M. Forster. (Reply to this comment)

A few years ago all the guides were on strike, so friends of ours hiked up on their own, pitched their tent and in the morning, through the tent flaps, was THAT view.
Great review,
Gill.

Hi Barbara!
just super, but alas not for me at this stage in my life....I really
Oh, but you see, hiking the trail to get to Machu Picchu is one option. The easier option is to take the train to Aguas Calientes and then the bus to Machu Picchu, and then, you sightsee at your leisure. So, you can still see one of the wonders of the world!! Don't give up on me, you are still a young lady!!
Thank you for reading and commenting!

we've been really tempted to go for a hike with this company. I know they do some great looking jungle expeditions too.
One of the couples in our group were doing a three week tour with Peru Gateway... they'd just come in from Lake Titicaca, and surrounding areas, then they did the Inca Trail with us, and after that, they spent one week in the Amazon.
Being German, they refused the help from a Porter and they backpacked the entire trail, with 40lbs on their backs, and they were always at least 45 minute ahead of us... it was a walk in the park for them!! LOL!
Anyway, the spoke highly of Peru Gateway.
Hope you and Mel get to go one day!
And, Chris, thank you for setting up this link!!
cheers,
Regina

Hi Bryan
The trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu was our first trip to South America. We were quite impressed with the beauty of the terrain, the Andes, the Indigenous people of the mountains... just such a wonderful experience! Highly recommend it.

I've only been to South America one time- to Venezuela. But it is a place I would like to return. Seeing all of the ancient ruins in places like Peru would be quite fascinating.
P.S: Did you get the e-mail I sent to you?
