Based on my experiences with Tiger Direct, I never would have thought for one minute that Tiger Direct would have customers complaining the way I have seen some do on here. For nearly 9 years, I have been making most of my computer and computer parts purchases from Tiger Direct. They just make things way easy for me. Even though I live in California and their warehouse is located in Illinois, I still manage to receive my orders in just a few days, and it seems like it took even fewer days than usual for my last several orders to arrive. And I only select standard UPS Ground service shipping each time! Their current Panasonic 50" plasma tv offer is easily the best deal in town, and it came along at just the right time because I have been in the market for one for a few weeks. As for rebates, I find their filing requirements very reasonable, as are the overall terms and conditions. In fact, Tiger Direct is one of the few companies who have actually come through for me with rebates. As for the customer service there, it is truly top-notch. The agents are very knowledgeable, and when faced with a question they may not have an answer to (and I don't expect anyone to know everything about every product), they research the product and get back to me with an answer very quickly....and it's the RIGHT answer, at that! This is all very encouraging for the consumer, especially in this day an age of so much competition cropping up everywhere, and then fading into oblivion a short time later. It is no wonder Tiger Direct is already in its 20th year, and why I expect to do even better throughout the next 20.
