... but you know I'll be p*ssed if we don't get some Air Supply up here soon! (he he he) Actually, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" and "On My Own" (I actually bought Patti LaBelle's "The Winner in You" just to have that song) are two of my absolute favorites.

Jheri-curl assassins. That is a great description. I'm glad to see Let's Chill and My, My, My. Reminds me of the teenage years.
Can't wait for the rest.

Damn, Mike, the moment I saw "The One I Love", I knew this was gonna be good. That is one that never crossed my mind before but would've made a great pick. "If You Don't Know Me By Now" is another that I should've thought of, a song that mostly went over my head in the old days and now I am finally starting to appreciate more.
I'm surprised there were only two songs from Thriller that weren't singles, never knew that before! "Crash Into Me" is another one of those I toyed with a lot but ultimately didn't have the 'room' for.
Too bad "Drive" had to lead to so many problems between the band members, 'cause it was such a great song, another easy Karaoke song too if I have a sore throat one night or something.. lol
I LOVE "The Heart of the Matter", and hate all the radio edits that take out both occurrences of "I'm learning to live without your love, but I miss you sometimes." If not for those I would've liked this song sooner than I did. In the meantime, I was too distracted by the way the "even if"s sounded similar to the "breathe again"s in the Toni Braxton song. Now I see that they're not all that similar, but considering the fact that I thought "Breathe Again" was by Michael Jackson the first several times I heard it, obviously I didn't listen for sh!t anyway...
And of course, "I'm Gonna Be", definitely no arguments with ya on that one :)

Dave took his-shall we say, steadily improving lyrical skills, mashed it into a lilting, jazzy rhytm played by the fine musicians in his band, and came up with the make-out anthem for hacky-sackers.
Ain't that the truth. And hey--it's the first song that my wife and I, uh, "made out" to. So you definitely got that right.
Funny how a song about out-and-out obsession can turn into a love song when it's played gently and beautifully (see: Every Breath You Take)....neat list. Keep it up....more love is never a bad thing.

Hey, nice start on the list.
But ya know, if you don't include *MY* favorites, I still reserve the right to grumble and moan when you're not paying attention...
