The Bottom Line I like the writer's corner humour poetry because it's fun to read.
Aol Vampyre
the dark invades
the simple sanity
of a girl who knew too much about nothing
in particular
now she wants to be a vampire
roaming streets in the hours of quiet darkness
finding victims
who would provide her with eternal life,
infinite youth, by unveiling their blood
to her gleaming fangs.
she thinks she should be an immortal
looks up information on this
on the internet in the latest hours of night
if she could suck a life force from hard drives or
search engines
she would be the AOL Vampyre
ephemeral no longer, living until the last sunset.
