Much more Prince, no "I Would Die 4 U" :(...I always considered that song something that had significantly more of a religious overtone than a romantic one.
Thanks for the comment,

...kills me every damn time. And it ticks me off to know end that I don't have frickin' "Moondance" with me at work right now.

for including The Human League's- "Human" which is one of my favourite songs by them. And for Prince of course.... speaking of which, is "I would Die 4 U" on the list later?

Another great installment in what is becoming a superstellar list! I could name specifics, but we'd be here all... well what the hell.
I never thought about the Eagles while making my list, but you definitely got a point there. "I Can't Tell You Why" is quite the vocal feat. The other day they were playing "One Of These Nights" on the way home, and I could not BELIEVE how beautiful it sounded in that moment. I wondered why the hell I didn't hear it that way all along.
My omission of Billy Joel was unforgivable, so I'm glad you found a place for the man here :) If I had actually made a place for him, I would've ended up going with something hard like "A Matter of Trust". I know you're an emotional girl! always gets me. "All About Soul" is pretty sweet too, in the right context.
I can't stand "More Than Words" myself with all its sentence fragments and hoisting of expectations, but that's my problem more than the song's.. LOL and it's funny how so many people think it's Mr. Big that does the song; Mr. Big does "To Be With You", a song that my sister and I often confused with "More Than Words" back in the day.
Ah well, time for me to fly.
Later!

Speaking of "Ain't No Sunshine" I once heard Tori Amos do a cover of that song, though I can't remember where. It's a good one, and her voice is well suited to it.
Nice list.
