I hate giving out the stars, because different perspectives will yield different ratings.
In this case, I give four stars because it's a lot of car for the price--somewhat like having a five-door Camry for a lot less money than the sedan--not because of its xB-ness.

"More refined, less fun" strikes again. I can understand Toyota's thinking with this vehicle--needing to keep the Scion line fresh to hold young buyers' interest--but a lot of the people that made the xB a huge success weren't that young.
