Thanks, my poems tend to have the force of a sledge hammer. Not so much as they used to, but it is still there. I haven't put the time into refining them, the ones I post anyhow. I save the edited ones for the book that I keep putting off.

Your poetry is very moving and powerful. You don't hold back on the emotional impact. I like that.
Hope you find your answers. You aren't alone, most of us have found ourselves caught up in this unsatisfying loop at one point or another.
