I have owned my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe for just over a year now and I believe it may be the best vehicle I have ever owned. I had not heard much about the Santa Fe before I purchased it, but have noticed since that there are tons of Santa Fes on the road (which I believe makes it own commentary on how good the vehicle is).

At this point (knock wood) I have not complaints on the vehicle. The only thing I miss (after moving from a mini-van) is the 7 passenger capability. With two kids who I often find myself needing more seating to accommodate friends and such. Hyundai if you are listening...see what you can do to possibly make a 7 passenger Hyundai...???

The pros to this vehicle are many. There are six different built in cup holders (with kids, it is easy to use all). It offers very comfortable seating (even in the back seat for tall passengers). If you have 3 adult passengers in the back seat it is a bit cramped, but 3 children fit perfectly. I love the amount of storage space in the back, I can easily take a long road trip and not only pack all my luggage, but include a large cooler for drinks and snacks on the road.

The thing that has surprised me the most about the Santa Fe, is the mileage. I can fill my tank and drive to and from work (the weeks when I don't have a lot of extra driving) for two weeks. I work about 10 highway miles from my house, and for an SUV I am surprised that a tank can last that long.

I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone!
