I don't care if you're 20, 40, 60, or 80 (or 80 plus), if you prefer white cotton panties, then you're MY KIND OF GAL! I've always thought the "trying to be sexy" stuff was silly. Had I known during our cycling trip...well, I'd better not go there. I do have SOME respect. But just seeing the words "white cotton panties" on the page...I need a cold shower.

Darla - Thank you so much for the RR&Comment. I agree with the prices of Victoria's Secret. My husband used to say that silk stockings and high heels and a well turned ankle was sexier then any fancy underwear - which was a good way to keep the prices of underwear to a minimum. (I wonder why I found a box of old Playboy magazines in his closet after he died?) He still made me laugh even after he left this world.

for such a humorous review...nothing to be embarassed about here!
What I also take from this is the phrase that costly panties should be stitched in gold...perhaps next time I'll refrain from overspending, as I'll have that descriptive phrase reverberating in my mind. It is costly, especially as these Victoria's secret numbers seem to have less and less material. Shouldn't this result in a price decrease? It's like fabric conservation. I luckily know of an outlet store where I can always find a lovely 99 cent deal!

You see, people DO want access to your underwear history--"foundation garments," my grandmother would have called them. As for comfy white cotton blend panties--well, the best ones I've ever tried are made and sold by Marks and Spencer, the British department store. M&S undies have only one seam in the body of the garment, and that's down the back. This means no itchy side seams between Yours Truly and whatever is provided on top for pubic view.
Moreover, it means that you have to go to the UK to replace your undies. Now if that's not a proper excuse for travel, I never heard one.
