Frustrating experience, will NEVER use this site again

I ordered Softspot shoes on June 3 and my credit card was immediately charged. I did get through once to a customer service person after 12 days and she said the shoes should go out in another 4-5 days because they were delayed in transit. OF COURSE, NO SHOES arrived and no one would answer their phone when I tried to call. I finally sent them an email and was answered that the shoes should arrive there in a few days and then would be sent out to me. OF COURSE, NO SHOES. Finally, 25 days later I received notice via email that the shoes were unavailable and my order was cancelled. I am constantly checking my bank account to see if my credit card has been credited - hasn't been yet, so another battle may ensue. My husband called and asked to speak to management, and was told that there was "no manager available to talk" but a promise was made that I would receive a phone call from someone today. You guessed it - NO PHONE CALL. I should have checked this website first, also, to read the reviews! A lesson learned! This is a shoddy business with absolutely the worst in customer communications and service. I, too, was lured by their cheaper price on the shoes I wanted, not knowing that they DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE THE SHOES.
