Pros: Image quality, TV, Picture-in-picture
Cons: Remote control. beeping when you press the buttons
The Bottom Line: Even if it has a few annoying, minor details, the picture quality is so much better than a normal monitor and causes less eye strain.

I purchased this monitor after my old 17" died and had a horror story buying a 22" monitor on ebay. I did my research before I purchased it and heard many stories about how these had many problems such as many dead pixels. I decided it was worth it, not only for the TV function, but because it is silver and black and so it matches my computer and the overall decor of my room.
Of course setup was a snap, just plug it in and turn it on. Thats when I noticed something quite annoying. The buttons are pretty cool as they are touch sensitive, but any button that you press the monitor will beep. This is fine at first but after a while it becomes quite annoying.
I also find the remote control a but un user friendly. You have to hold down the buttons for a few seconds before it will respond. Maybe its the battries? I'm not sure since I dont use the remote control too much anyways.
The picture quality is very good (much better than a CRT monitor). I have heard that TFT monitors with analog inputs have worse picture than those with DVI inputs, but to me it looks very good. Then again this is the second TFT monitor (the first being a dual-scan passive matrix on my laptop that if you look carfully in dark areas, you can see static)but in terms of a current standalone TFT monitor, I have no point of refrence.
