Awesome reviews man. Nice to see some real thought put into it. I've recently rewatched a bunch of wrestling vids, this really made it more interesting to see them all. Here's how I would rank them, just my personal opinion.

3, 17, 18, 10, 14, 19, 7, 4, 20, 1, 6, 13, 16, 15, 8, 12, 2, 5, 9, 11

The only one's I would've rated a lot higher than you, as you would see, are 18 and 4. I was surprised to see you rated 18 so low, especially cause I remember watching this one on PPV and being pleasantly surprised by how good the event was BEFORE Hogan-Rock. Some of the undercard matches (Booker-Edge, Angle-Kane, DDP-Christian) that weren't mentioned much in your review were IMO very good athletic displays. I'm also pretty partial to Hogan-Rock, just cause of the novelty, I don't think there's ever been a crowd reaction quite like that, and that is after all part of the show.

I rewatched 4, which used to be one of my favorite manias (when I was much younger), and agree the wrestling isn't outstanding, though it doesn't strike me as boring either. I though it was a novel idea, could've been better, but to me it's nice that nearly all of the matches on the card meant something to some storyline or to the overall storyline. Like the Jake v Rude match, you could say it was cheap and disappointing to knock both these guys out, but IMO it was an intelligent part of the plan to get Savage over as the champ, cause you can now say he's gotta face more adversity to win the title, since he's gotta face the One Man Gang who outweighs him by 180 pounds and had a bye. JMO.

I think 8 and 12 are the only ones I rated much lower. When I saw 8 on the PPV, I remember being really disappointed at the end. The event did have two great matches, but the second half of the card might've been the worst second half ever, and IMO Hogan-Sid at 8 was the worst main event ever. I felt the same way you did about Bret-Shawn at 12. Was surprised you rated it so well. I sort of think if it's a one match show and booked as such that one match really better be a great one.

Just thought it might be interesting to compare opinions. Thanks a lot any rate. As said you made it much more enjoyable to watch the events over.

Ah man, you could do it. It's pretty fun but it's such a long process. I'd love to see your takes.

Thanks again. You think of Mania as the pinnacle and then see how many bad shows they did. But the last 5 years or so have been pretty good with 17, 19, and 20 being exceptional shows.

Simply Classic...

Even though its really a shame that the only company who ever put out consistent wrestling shows and non-stop action in their tenure is ECW. Nobody can argue that...

Unbelievable job... I was gonna review the Wrestlemanias, but after this, you can't be topped...

Peace,

If wrestling could ever get over the stigma that there's no way it could be cool (except in the late 90's), people could see what I see. But then they shoot themselves in the foot with the well deserved bad publicity they always get, and they're back at square one again.

Absolutely and utterly amazing! Yes, it is.

Okay, so wrestling to me is as exciting as watching a cat sleep - and I'm allergic to it (cat and wrestling)...but you convinced me that there in fact can be different levels when it comes to the WWF (WWE).

What I mean by this only you can interpret.

I'm too lazy to put the links in. I could simply copy them from my profile page, but then again, too lazy. I wanted to separate this from movies, just because when I think of watching great movies, old wrestling tapes don't come up.

File a bug on those February lists if you think it's buggy.

I think this would have made a good one for the best off/worst of lists....

OH.. speaking of which, February none of those lists paid a penny and they're always steady earners.. was that a glitch ya think? Very odd, that.

Anyway.. I think you should pop in links to the full reviews and move this to best movies.
