Thoughts about you

The Bottom Line If you don't get it, it's OK, it was the purpose of it!

This month is the month of poetry in my high school and pupils were invited to write poems and give them to the principal so that he would hang them on the wall of the cafeteria. They announced this while my friends and I were having a week of exams and stuff so we decided as a joke to try and write something. We ended up with this ... thing :

Thoughts About You :

I dream of stepping over the elephant with you
The Golden of your eyes
The male flower of my cravings
White peach sexiness
My tropical nectar, my five fruits, my vitamin
You intoxicate me
Your silky smooth hair
You remind me of forgotten childhood memories
You are my natural mineral water
I’m attracted to you like a nail to a magnet
You warm my winters and my heart
You capture my needs
You don’t see my callings
Your spine, like a heater
My huge small sweetheart
Let’s slide into another world, I’ll show you 7th Heaven
You dizzy me
The sugar of my yoghurt
The subject of my discussions
Without you, I’m just another Dorian Gray
You are young ... and cute
The honey of my hair
The speed of my rollerblades, a moment of confusion
I’m not a pigeon
The little prince of my tartlets
You are a pure male, not diluted
The Adonis at the top of my charts
Tu es si sensuel, trop sensuel pour mes cheveux
You are the music to my disco shirts
You are the can and I am the sardine of your dreams held tight against you
When you twist (you hair) I get shivers down my spine
I shiver, you the spoon of my rice pudding.

THE END (of the poem, not of my love)

Before you think we’re crazy, I repeat : this was written as a total joke and was intended to be something fun, a way of laughing at all the clichés used in traditional poetry. Of course we didn’t give it to principal. We just hung it ourselves, hehe =)
The verses were inspired by : stupid classmates, magazines, songs, our meal and other embarrassing things...

Thanks for reading !!
