iKitchen.com is the most incompetent merchant site I have EVER encountered! I ordered a CHROME Cuisinart Mini Prep-Plus, but 11 days later--a little longer than Amazon's free delivery--a WHITE one showed up at my door. Was this intentional? Did they get a deal on white ones and figure I wouldn't care if they, OOPS!, sent the wrong color? Or, are they a bunch of morons who can't fill a simple, one item order? From what I've gathered here, I think the latter. I paid $25, plus $11 for S/H, for a refurb, which is about $5 less than a new, repeat NEW, one from Amazon, which also would have been the right color. I'm not even thinking about sending it back, especially after reading some REAL horror stories here at Epinions from other suckers. I'll re-order from another merchant (probably Amazon), get the product I want, and give this one as a birthday or Christmas gift. It seems to work fine, but of course iKitchen didn't make it, unless they're in China. It should continue to work fine, unless by just sitting in iKitchen's warehouse it somehow became infected by their inability to correctly do a simple task.... Maybe I don't want to know. My advice: stay away from these guys. Once they have your money, they could care less about you.
