The Bottom Line 1st attempt as an adult....please be gentle! :)
For those of you that have been encouraging me, I thank you. For those that are unaware, this is my first attempt as an adult to publish a recent writing. All my previous postings were of a 16 year old, sad young man. I'm proud to say, that due to encouragement, I have been able to come up with "Positive Affirmations" Enjoy! "Positive Affirmations" Aspirations, affirmations, all the would be wonderful thoughts. "Never never give up." Is what they say. This one is easily bought. Insightful sayings, words to the wise. "Who among you has a dream?" Daily life filled with optimistic views. I wonder what all this means. "What does'nt kill you will make you stronger." ...What my father never said to me. "Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die" Now I'm the father wanna-be. "When life gives you lemons, make lemonaid" I remember Anne Landers once saying. "What we have to learn to do, we do by doing" I once read Aristotle relaying. Positive quotes, motivating speaches Used properly can have their place. "The tree is known by the fruit" Timothy said Any mind left unused is a waste. "Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you sit there." "Walk the walk don't talk the talk" "Your future is hidden in what you do daily"... So There! So remember my friends, when things get you down, All these wonderful words of advice From those in our past, who've been there at last And have experienced that facial frown. And also remember: We have two ends with a common link With one we sit, with one we think. Success depends on which you use. Heads you win, tails you lose.
