Challenge Yourself Write Off Lets face it, most of us write in a few categories we’re comfortable with. I write mainly in Movies, Books, & Games, although I am trying to branch out with regular contributions in Travel and have written a few times in Computer Hardware, Electronics, & Music. But how often we really challenge ourselves by writing in something that we’ve NEVER written in before? That’s the point of this WO. There are no rules as such, except that it should be a product review in a category you’ve never written in before (Writers’ Corner pieces don’t count, sorry), and it should include a link back to this page. No other rules, except challenge yourself, and hopefully enjoy the experience. (Just in case there are some people who have written in every single category, then write in a subcategory you’ve never written in before. If there aren’t even any sub-categories you’ve never written in then you are obviously too esoteric for this WO to have any meaning for you anyway). The WO will be open until 14th May (nope, I've decided I definitely won't extend it... so get your entries in now!), and if you post a comment with your review URL, I’ll do link to from this page – I’ll keep it as up to date as possible. Personally I’m going to do a review in Wellness and Beauty (can you believe it?!?!?) as I think that will really be a challenge. However I think a good reviewer should be able to write a good review of anything - so I guess I’ll find out if I’m a good reviewer… Multiple entries are okay but only if you write in a new category you’ve never posted in before – two reviews in the same category don’t count. I’m pretty sure someone will have done this sort of thing before but that’s no reason for me not to do it now. So there.
