After reading your review I decided to go with Homelite UT13120 which is corded instead of cordless, but I am happen with this purchased as I see you were with the cordless. Mind is only 53lbs compared to your 87lbs. But anyway the reason I had contacted you was that rear flap was put on wrong and Homelite will replace it for free with new instructions on how it suppose to be installed correctly. I know because I had the same problem myself, where the rear flap would somehow hit the blade in operation.
Enjoy your Homelite as I am doing myself.. PS I might go and get the cordless and keep the corded version as a backup to the cordless when the battery dies out. Just a thought!
