Now keep in mind, I've only had it for about a year. No one (NO ONE) can speak to the reliability of a vehicle in one year. What I can say is, so far, it's the best truck I've ever had. Which trucks have I owned you ask? I have had several fords and chevys of various ages and sizes. Overall, none of them compared to the style of this tundra. It has quite a few useful and well-designed compartments.
The cab has plenty of room in the front and a decent amount in the back for a non-crew cab truck. Many of my friends have given me crap for buying a "Toy", however, all of them admit to liking this truck as much (or more) than their own. For those that complain that this truck is significantly smaller than the comparable types, I would stipulate that most of these trucks have the same overall statistics and have created artificial size by simply making the outer body panels a little bigger.
I have the 4.7 with the TRD and towing package. Towing-wise, I use it to pull a 4,000 pound boat in the mountains, which it seems to do with ease.
I am satisfied with the gas mileage as well. Surprisingly, I do, in fact, get 18 in the city and 20 on the highway, exactly what the window sticker said.
This truck is expensive, no doubt. However, I have no buyer's remorse and would gladly recommend it to a friend.
