...it would appear that you are correct, as there are certainly more trails than I can recall after looking at some maps. I guess that through my short travels through the region, I just haven't noticed many trailheads or the mention of hiking like I'm used to. The few places that I have stopped at, have rarely been more than a five minute walk, with the trail being as busy as a mall at Christmas.
Anyways, I made a small change to my wording, since there are more than a few trails. Thanks for letting me know.

and many without major climbs or descents. Maybe I'll finally get around to writing an epinion on hiking in GNP. I know you're writing a sweeping survey, but misinformation is misinformation is misinformation.

went through Wyoming and South Dakota willingly?? Wow!
I gotta agree with you on South Dakota though. I've gone through north dakota in the winter twice... never again! It was 8 hours of dirt!!

Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park was our family vacation. Camped outside of Loveland and had great times.
