LOL. Love it! Thanks for the vote of confidence. If I get in a writing funk again, maybe I'll try music a bit more and see if I get motivated. There's so many terrific writers over here that I don't think I could hold a candle to....

This is good stuff, and I really think that you ought to coinsider more reviews in the music - wait a minute...

this IS good stuff...

must instinctively protect sphere of influence a-HEM...

uhh - I didn't like this at all.
uhh - You should stick to Deep Trek Wars 5 or whatever that stuff is. Go away... we don't need your kind around here.

Thanks Chris! I'll have to look up the dates on that marriage - I never even knew they got married. I'm getting old....

Entering two WOs with the same review... I ask you... soooooo unethical....

(Actually I did that too once, shows we both have brilliant minds! - er... I think...)

Great job as always Patti,

I'll have to try that. Don't have I Will, so I'll have to do some digging...

Thanks for the comment!

I didn't even remember having Missing Persons in my collection. I have to get an MP3 player for my car....

Thanks Virginia!

Yeah, my mom knew who Billy Idol was in the early 80's, too, mostly by hearing it so much at home.

I think this is the first time I really listened to Tougher Than the Rest in years. I was glad at least one Springsteen showed up. Of course, I could have gushed about Thunder Road for two pages probably :-)

Thanks for the comment!

LOL. I was in shock when that one came up - I haven't heard it in like forever. I've had My Best Friend's Girl stuck in my head now for 2 days...

Thanks for the comment!

Ah, My Best Friend's Girl is such a wonderful song. Since you mentioned the Beatles amongst your other tracks, try this if you have a chance. Listen to My Best Friend's Girl and then listen to I Will from the Beatles. It's interesting to hear the not-so-subtle homage that The Cars have included.

we need a write-off to figure out how many write-offs we can contain in one review. Could prove interesting.

I was such a huge Missing Persons in the 80's and now I cannot seem to get that song out of my head...thank you very much =)

Nice job on your combo review.

Bonzo =)

I have heard some of the songs due to the years that two of my kids were playing them consantly at home. Even for an old timer like me, you wrote well enough to hold my interest throughout.

Wasn't this a fun W/O? I enjoyed reading your list. I haven't thought of Foolish Heart or Steve Perry in ages but that is a good song. I was surprised when Bruce Springsteen didn't show up on my list...Thunder Road is my favorite song by him, too. I like Tougher than the Rest though, too.

Now I have Love Plus One stuck in my head! Thanks for the memories! (And the number of live bootlegs I have from Napster is also notable... I was happy none of those came up LOL)
