They're hard to find definitely, but we can still enjoy the classics!

Great list (Reply to this comment)

I have been a big fan as well and glad to see the mention of Send me no flowers.
Wish they made movies like these still.

Thanks. Not a big one on cowboys and indians, but will try to get to it.

Oh the others are worthy, too, but I like romantic comedies like females usually do! :-)

I guess Rock still has a following. I liked him in GIANT and SECONDS, perhaps because he was closer to own character in them.
Good work.

Really? I'll have to rent Bend of the River then. Those netflix summaries don't always sell the movie. Did notice Something of Value and will look into it. Thanks!

"Bend of the River" (Reply to this comment)
by Stephen_Murray, in Movies
is a better movie than many of those you listed. Hudson played a more major part in Richard Brooks's movie about the Mau Mau, "Something of Value," too, but you have "Seconds" and "Written on the Wind" on your list.

They had great chemistry, but Lollobrigida and he also had some as well as with Taylor. :-)

the most when he paired with Doris Day. They seemed to have a chemistry that clicked with me.
He was a good looking guy - and a pretty good actor as well.

Wonderful Review! (Reply to this comment)
by bonzobean
I am a huge fan of the classics and love Rock Hudson flicks. You've picked out some wonderful movies here. I don't care about his personal life, I can understand why so many women fell for him.
I really enjoyed reading this. Thank you.
