Written: Jul 04 '07 (Updated May 04 '08)
Pros:Excellent Quality. Cons:N/A The Bottom Line: Buy a pair now if you can find them to be prepared for Christmas time hunting or working.
Why I Bought
I purchased them mainly for when I am hunting in the cold or for when I am upstate or in Northern Territory of the United States of America or in the bitter Winter cold of Canada. Plus with prior experience of wearing some version of Wigwam Gobi Liner Socks since 1998 and all the pairs I have are virtually as new as the day as I bought them. Another reason why I bought them is because it makes wearing over the calf length socks a little more comfortable to wear especially since I am not use to wearing this type of sock very often. I forget how much they retail for but they are generally less than $10 before taxes normally.
Usefulness
They are lacking in cushion because they are almost paper thin and are intended of being worn with other socks over the liner sock; however, they do have a nice gentle touch to the skin that is virtually identical to silk liner sox.
Durability
These socks will last you for years to come as long as you keep yours shoes properly tied and toenails reasonable length; meaning that you feet are not loose in the boots rubbing against the heel portion and your toenails are at normal length so they do not essentially cut through the sock itself. Another thing that is important is proper washing and drying to extend life of the socks.
Other Care Directions
A fine point that is not well known is that you should not just forcefully pull on your socks because it causes permanent stretching which eventually will tear a hole in the socks or make them to where they are too loose to wear. Gently roll or bunch the socks pass on over toes to the heel then gently bring them up towards your calf. The point of this to simply prevent stretching and allow for them to be in service for years to come. I have done this practice with (my diabetic socks that I use for controlling swelling [an issue that is now rather infrequent]) and steel toe shoe socks since 1997 (ten years and believe it or not some of the socks I still have from that time frame) and really does extend the life of the socks in general but especially in the heel region.
At some point during the time which you have these socks if you notice a loose end clip it as close as you can carefully to the sock with scissors to prevent premature unraveling or bunching or pulling or breaking. (Do not just pull a loose strand by hand.)
Times to be used
These sock liners are perfect for hunting or working or day around the house with socks over them. I find them to be perfect and priceless for gift giving during Christmas time.

Care Instructions
I recommend turning the socks inside out before washing and that you wash by hand. Wash in warm water DO NOT BLEACH. Air dry only and do not air dry in sunlight because it will result in hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is simply rotting of the spandex fabric in this case. Do Not machine dry.
