When I first heard that they were making Shrek the third, I could barely retain my excitement as the first two were so hilariously funny and cleverly put together. Before its release I watched the trailers and thought, it's STILL funny!

We saw the movie on the second weekend it was out and it was a MAJOR disappointment. It lacked the funny aspects that Shrek 1 & 2 was so packed full of. I'm sure that the "funny" trailer had all the funny parts compressed into half a minute or so. It did however, have one line jokes that weren't particularly funny. The story line was exceedingly weak and tiresome. The film also had so many morals in it, which ruins the fun (if any) of this movie.

The film included many returning characters, such as the three little pigs, three blind mice, gingerbread man, Pinocchio – I did not see the point of this, as they did not really play a big part of the movie.

The animation was still great, but that is the only thing great about this film.

We found the film a waste of time and money; I certainly would not buy it on DVD when it comes out.
